We did it!  South Carolina has won the SEC East for the first time.  What a game in the Swamp.  After the kickoff return to open the game I thought it was going to be ugly.  Little did I know that Florida wouldn't score again until the 4th quarter.  We fired on all cylinders last night.  Our team was very motivated after last week.  Now we have 2 more games before a re-match with Auburn in the SECCG.  Call me crazy, but I think we can beat them.  I think our defense can stop Cam Newton.  In a season full of firsts for SC, I could see us winning the SECCG.  That would get us to our 1st ever BCS bowl appearance.  Speaking of firsts, this season is the first time SC has beaten Bama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida in the same season.  Truly awesome!  GO GAMECOCKS!!!!!

South Carolina and the SEC East

Can SC dominate the SEC East?  I believe they can.  Recruiting has been better under Steve Spurrier.  We are getting top notch players on both sides of the ball.  We have a solid running game now and our QB has gained a renewed confidence.  The other teams in the SEC East look like they are going backwards.  I think that with the right recruiting and with continued big play SC will become the dominant SEC team in the eastern division.  It's a long time coming.
